Clinical Holistic Nutritionist

I am certain that I was born with my passion for food.

I have always loved food in its various forms and it inspires and excites me on a daily basis. Ever since I could pick up a fork, I was adventurous with the foods I ate, and I was always willing to try anything and everything. It was this adventurous spirit, however, that made me love all the wrong foods. Because of this, I struggled with my weight from a young age, before coming to realize things needed to change. I knew I was headed down the wrong path if I continued to eat the way I had been. My emotional connection with food is very strong since many of my family's traditions revolve around food and the delicious meals we create. But by changing the foods I was eating, I quickly realized the power food had and just how much it affected my overall health. My journey with weight loss inspired me to want to help others achieve their own health goals.

My passion for the field of nutrition led me to Ryerson University in Toronto where I earned my Bachelor of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food. Still craving more knowledge on how to help others heal, I was led to the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, where I graduated with first class honours and earned my diploma in Applied Holistic Nutrition and the designation of Certified Nutritional Practitioner. My advanced education allowed me to become registered with the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants. As a Registered Orthomolecular and Nutritional Consulting Practitioner, I am recognized as a trusted and educated professional. My training has provided me with the tools to understand our physiology and how to fully and completely nourish and heal the body back to a balanced state of health.

Ultimately, I want to help people change their lives and improve their overall health and wellness through the healing power of food. I want to inspire you to believe in yourself and provide you with the right tools to get you feeling your best. I can't wait to work with you and help you along your journey towards a happier, healthier lifestyle!
