Welcome!

Things are feeling pretty fresh and new around here, and it’s not just long-awaited spring weather!

If you’ve been following me over the past few years, you can obviously see there are some differences to my overall look with a new logo and totally new website. If you’re new to my blog and website, then welcome!

I’ll start by saying thank you to those of you who have stuck with me, followed my social media, commented, and encouraged me along the way. My thank you gift to you is here: I’m going to be bringing you an even better website, blog, Instagram and Facebook. I’ll be working hard every week to bring you new content, videos and recipes. My goal with the new Deliciously Nourished is to provide as much information and inspiration as I can. If you’ve ever watched my Instagram stories, you already know that I have a lot to say about health, wellness and food. So I want to bring that passion to a broader audience and cultivate a positive and welcoming space for you to find answers to all of your health and nutrition questions.

I’m not quite sure exactly where the desire for all this change came from or when it started. Maybe it had something to do with turning 29 and coming in to my last year of my twenties. The wheels started turning, but I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do or what I could start to change. I began to realize that the biggest thing I wanted was more for my business. I wanted to do more than just focus on my consulting practice. I wanted to grow Deliciously Nourished into a full-spectrum health and wellness brand with the opportunity to grow my community beyond just the clients that I see in my practice.

With this desire for change, I also decided it was time to take my practice to the next level and branch out on my own. I was feeling antsy without full control over my practice and I knew it was time to make a change. Having my own business and consulting practice is something I always knew I wanted. It was never a matter of 'if' it would happen, it was a question of 'when.' That question was answered a couple of months ago when I was given an opportunity to have an office in the brand new Fit4Life Physiotherapy & Wellness Centre. I had to make quick decisions for myself and my business but I knew it was the right step to take. Time has totally flown by and I can’t believe our opening date is already next week! So here we are. It’s been a mad dash over the last month and a half to get things ready and revamped, but we did it. I say we as it wasn’t just me, myself and I getting things ready to go. I literally could not have done everything myself. While I focused on getting things ready for my practice, I also had help behind the scenes. I have to thank my boyfriend Jordan who helped keep me sane by doing the technical aspects of this website and helping me out with his fancy camera and all the awesome photos you see on here. He didn’t want a shout out, but it’s my website and my blog and I get the final say on content, so there!

So what can you expect from the new Deliciously Nourished? Like I mentioned earlier, you’ll find lots of new content and inspiration delivered weekly. But most importantly I want you to have a trusted source for realistic nutrition and wellness advice. I truly feel that my slogan, 'Nutrition Simplified,' is an important aspect of my practice and it reigns true to how I’ll write my posts and recipes as well. I want to help break down the complicated world of nutrition and health. Mostly I want you to feel empowered and inspired to make changes to your life and take control of your health!

So take a look around the website, if you haven’t already. I always welcome any feedback as well as requests for recipes or blog posts. If there is something you want to learn more about, let me know! Connect with me on my social media accounts or use my Contact Me page to shoot me a message. It’s going to be lots of fun and I can’t wait for this next chapter for Deliciously Nourished!
